In short (updated October 2026): eTravel registration for the Philippines opens 72 hours (3 days) before your arrival or departure and is free at etravel.gov.ph or in the eGovPH app. Register on arrival if you are any passenger or crew member; register on departure if you are a Filipino passenger. Keep the QR code on your phone: the airline checks it before boarding.
What is eTravel registration?
eTravel registration is the online travel declaration of the Philippine Travel Information System. It replaced the paper arrival card, the paper departure card and the old One Health Pass. Your single registration covers the immigration, health (Bureau of Quarantine) and customs declarations, and since May 2024 you show just one QR code for all three. It is not a visa.
Who needs eTravel registration?
- Arriving passengers, foreign and Filipino, by air or sea
- Arriving crew, foreign and Filipino
- Departing Filipino passengers, including OFWs
Departing foreign nationals are not on the official list. Exempt are foreign diplomats and their dependents, foreign dignitaries and their delegations, 9(e) visa holders, and holders of diplomatic or official/service passports.

Registering on the day before your flight leaves time to fix errors. If your flight changes, update the registration with “Edit Registration” rather than creating a second one: only one QR code should be shown.
How to register online
- Go to etravel.gov.ph or open the eGovPH app and sign in with your email.
- Select Arrival or Departure and air or sea.
- Enter passport and travel data, your address, then the health and customs declarations.
- Submit and save the QR code (screenshot, download or print) before leaving the site.
Families and groups
Every traveller, including children, needs an individual registration and QR code. A parent or guardian can complete the registration for a child.
Common problems
- Lost QR code: retrieve it at etravel.gov.ph/search with your reference number and date of birth.
- Wrong data: correct it via “Edit Registration” until the Bureau of Quarantine and the Bureau of Immigration have verified it.
- Red QR code: means further quarantine inspection, due to incomplete or incorrect data or illness or exposure in the past 30 days.
- Paid “eTravel” sites: the government charges nothing. Report scams to the CICC.

Is eTravel registration required for leaving the Philippines?
For Filipino passengers, yes. Foreign nationals are not on the official departure list.
Is eTravel the same as the old e-Arrival card?
eTravel replaced the earlier arrival card and the One Health Pass. Today eTravel at etravel.gov.ph is the only official system.
Does eTravel registration cost anything?
No. It is free on the official website and in the eGovPH app.
